Construction of the New Gym Hall is completed!
The Gym Hall is phase one of the Colleges new Sports Precinct and Performing Arts refurbishment, with phase two now under construction (estimated completion August 2025) Phase one consisted of a new Canteen, Changerooms, 4 x GLAs and PE Staff office. Phase two will consist of double court gym, Sports stores, Fitness Centre and an additional 4 x GLAs linking both buildings at the upper level.
Early Master planning identified the need to accommodate a larger canteen space due to increasing student numbers and by pulling out the canteen and changeroom spaces from the Block 7 we were able to provide a dedicated dance and rehearsal space, Black box style Drama space and additional music and tutorial rooms, all linking back to the central Performing Arts space.
