This project included an Early Childhood Centre of two Kindergarten general learning areas (GLA), two Pre-primary GLAs, two Year 1 GLAs, a multi-purpose room along with the requisite toilets, storage and external grassed play area.
A secondary learning centre was then developed with Design & Technology on the lower level and GLAs on the upper level that includes additional staff work areas, storage and toilets. This will provide the facilities required to meet the growing enrolment base in the Middle School in the 4 years after completion.
Some minor refurbishments were also undertaken to accommodate the shortfall in specialist facilities. The redesign of the science laboratory created a practice-based learning setting, and an existing Drawing Studio was converted into a Dance Studio. Music practice rooms were also added to the current Music room.
