The new Jennifer Reilly Aquatic Centre at Corpus Christi College features a covered and heated 25 metre, eight-lane indoor lap and water polo pool, a separate 12 metre learn-to-swim pool, and terrace seating for 180 people.
With a large Ed-Support department, the learn-to-swim pool was a critical design feature, with inclusion for all a high priority.
The semi-enclosed design allows for all-season training, provides natural light and ventilation from pool chemicals, as well as wind protection. The water polo pool was to Australian Standard to allow for high level competition and training.
Located adjacent to the Corpus Christi Community Centre completed by EIW in 2016, this project completed the College sporting precinct ready for the 2021 school year.
