PROJECT DESCRIPTION

EIW Architects and the College have embraced innovative theatre concepts and designs resulting in a state of the art auditorium.

The new facility provides capacity for 900 students, teachers and parents enabling secondary and primary assemblies, College worship services, theatrical, dance and musical performances. The stage area is professionally designed to easily cater for each of these performance modes.

The building provides a palette of materials and colours, complementing the existing College. Foyer spaces provide a venue for the display of art and College community events such as sit down dinners, seminar presentations and sun downers.

The auditorium has a number of new strides in technology, we believe it is the first ‘purpose built’ 100% digital theatre in the country. The star of the show is the 32 square metre LED video wall. This 450kg wall can be set up in different configurations and can easily be moved by a motorised hoist in the fly tower.

The stage area is professionally designed to easily cater for a range of performance modes.
