PROJECT DESCRIPTION

EIW Architects have been successful in the renovations and refurbishment of Trinity Residential College in Crawley to provide them with a new entrance off Hampden road as well as developing a high quality expanded foyer and Conference Centre break-out areas.

The project involved the demolition of the existing entrance portico and partial demolition of the first floor concrete slab and roofed areas to produce a new entry statement of the quality expected for engendering the Conference Centre to new clientele.

The project focused on the use of timber paneling, transparency to external courtyards, inclusion of greenery elements both internally and externally and naturally ventilated foyer spaces used for conference delegate break-out activities.

The new standard of finish is to be used as a pre-cursor to continual renewal projects around campus, including the upgrading of the residential wings.
